How did my love of Disney begin?

My love of Disney began with my parents.  My parents were married in June 1972.  They honeymooned in Florida, with one of their stops being Walt Disney World.  At that time, it was only Magic Kingdom.  After that, my Dad would earn incentive trips with his company every three years.  They could choose Las Vegas or Disney World.  Any guesses on which one he chose?

SO…in 1982, I went on my first trip to what would become my FAVORITE PLACE IN ALL THE WORLD!  At this time, Walt Disney World consisted of Magic Kingdom & the newly opened Epcot Center.  Do I remember a ton from this trip?  NO!  But, that doesn’t even matter.  A lifelong passion was ignited on this trip.  Something that can’t even be described.  True Disney lovers will know what I’m talking about.  It’s something deep within us, and I LOVE it!

This is my favorite picture from that trip.  My sister & I in front of Cinderella’s Castle.

Over the next several months, I’m going to be digging through all the pictures I can find from my past Disney trips.  This might take some time, as many of these were before the digital picture era, and will involve hunting through boxes of photos & albums, and then scanning them in to the computer.  Then, I’m going to start a random series of posts as I think of them.  I just want to share the information that I have & the thoughts that I think.  I could seriously talk about Disney all day long.  In fact, I often do!  Why not start a blog about those thoughts?
