I’m so glad that Walt Disney pursued his dream! I have three favorite quotes from Walt Disney. The first one is,
“If you dream it, you can do it!”
Why do I love this so much? I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I honestly feel like I’m living my dream! A deep down dream of mine was to be a wife and mother someday, and God has truly blessed me with my amazing husband & two sweet kiddos.

But, beyond that? My sister & I used to “play” travel agent. We would get brochures from different travel agencies & set up shop in our basement. It was so fun dreaming about destinations and “planning” trips for each other. Walt Disney World brochures were always our favorites. And, NOW? Here I am doing exactly what I used to pretend? I’m beyond grateful to God for bringing this job to my life at the exact perfect time! What a magical blessing, indeed!

Another of Walt Disney’s memorable quotes is,
“I only hope that we never lose sight of one thing…that it was all started by a mouse.”
When people think of Walt Disney World, Cinderella’s Castle is the “icon” that you immediately picture in your head…at least it is for me. But, would you say that Mickey Mouse is the “person” that you think about? It all began with him. He is so lovable. He welcomes you & makes you smile every time you see him. I love seeing him in all of his different outfits. I love looking back at pictures of myself & my family with him over the past 40+ years! (I have yet to find our pictures from before 1995, somewhere at my parents house) Even when I go on adult only trips, we have to say hello to Mickey! He’s part of the family!!! Whenever I hug him on one of our visits, I always tell him, “Love you! See you next time!”
And, the other Walt Disney quote that I love is,
“It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.”
Even more important than Walt’s quote is the verse from Matthew 19:26 (NLT)
Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”
Yes…different context here. BUT, I truly believe that God wants to bless us in all areas of our lives. It’s never too late to pursue a dream, whatever that may be for you. Whether you are 9 or 90…go after what you want!!! Take steps towards your goals. Never stop believing! Never stop praying! Someday, YOU might be doing the impossible…
